Guiding principles for a regional framework on migration and protection in the Americas

International and civil society organizations present the following Guiding principles for a regional framework on migration and protection in the Americas in preparation for the Ninth Summit of the Americas next June 6th, 2022 in Los Angeles, California. As countries from across the Americas move forward in developing the regional framework as well as bilateral/multilateral agreements, the following principles should be upheld.
